Who We Are

International Dana Charity Group LTD (ABN:67661171919) is an international volunteer-run Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization registered with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) and with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). Dana was founded on 10.2.2016 in Malaysia with operations encompassing Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia. We are genderless, religionless, borderless, raceless and non-politically affiliated.

Dāna” ( 檀那 in mandarin ) is a sanskrit term meaning generosity.

Dana is a 100% non-profit volunteer charity group. The founder was inspired to establish this charity platform when she found a street boy in New Delhi who was so grateful when given a piece of fruit.

She understands that as a medical doctor, she could do more than her routine professional work to support the less fortunate.

We strongly believe it is more blessed to give than to receive. We may not be lavishly wealthy but there are many who are less fortunate compared to us. While we may not be able to change the world, we are certainly able to spread positive energy, kindness and love through our charitable acts.
